Article
05 March 2020

Over the next few months we’ll be sitting down with some of our journalist friends, getting to know them better and finding out what makes them tick.

First up is Helen McGinn, founder and author of The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, international wine judge, drinks writer for the Daily Mail’s Femail Magazine and regular wine expert on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen! Helen lives in the New Forest with her family and also loves a cocktail – we asked her some important questions over a cup of tea.

If you weren’t a journalist, what would you be doing?

Writing a fiction novel.

Best wine list in London?

Chez Bruce.

Desert island cocktail?

French 75.

Favourite cocktail bar in the world?

Anywhere in NYC.

Last holiday?

Turkey and I loved it. Drank lots of rosé, obviously.

Thanks Helen for chatting to us, and stay tuned to hear all about our next journalist!
